Summer, sun, vacation time. That's what our five high school graduates say to themselves as they plan to spend what could be their last summer together on Usedom. But things turn out differently than expected.
The "Weiße Muschel" on Lake Wolgast is undergoing renovation and extension work. A bar with Caribbean flair and a sauna are to provide hotel guests with even more amenities during their stay here. However, there is still the question of whether the reopening can even take place on time. No apprentices, companies have to cancel appointments due to a shortage of skilled workers. Not the best conditions for a good start to the season. In addition, Mrs. Bluhm, the hotel manager, and Karl Kowalski, her newlywed husband, are on their honeymoon. Now all responsibility lies in the hands of Kai, the hotel's head chef. He is supported by his sister, who has come all the way from Ibiza to the north. But there is still no new head waiter in sight and the sauna project is proving more complicated than expected.
Things heat up in the "Muschel". Fun, excitement, action, entertainment and a good dose of music make for another eventful evening at the Wolgast harbor stage this year.
